Website Address: It was reported that AML will only host our Web site if we change our domain address to comply with their format of localgroup.us.mensa.org, which would mean abandoning our current name of mnmensa.org.  After discussion, there was consent to request minn.us.mensa.org.  Motion: Rescind AIE 02/11-02 (02/12-01 JH/PJ unanimous).  Motion: Webmaster should change Web hosting service from jtl.net to AML — financial impact $240.00 annual savings (02/12-02 DT/PJ unanimous).  It was discussed that this change should be done carefully and may take 90 days or more.

AG: At present, 1,079 registered, 538 boat rides sold.  Volunteers are still needed.  The program schedule is now posted on the Web site.  Randi Kaye will be the keynote speaker.  Both the City of St. Paul, and the State of Minnesota have proclaimed the first week in July as Mensa Week.  There are more than 250 speakers and events scheduled.

Al Heigl Status: Jane Gmur presented an update. Letters have been sent by the national office to Mr. Heigl via regular and certified mail, informing him of the charges and requesting that he reply by August 1 as to whether he wishes to contest the charges.  If a reply is not received by August 1, it will be assumed that he does not contest the charges and/or has no defense against them. A hearing will then be held by electronic means on September 16 to determine what sanctions should be levied.
