Subject: AG 2003 - transportation info

Hello--
I'm already registered. I was checking out the website and have a
question on transportation.
Between now and next year -- i.e., there is no rush on this, just
something for the probably very long to do list -- can we get more
information on transportation from the airport to the hotel? The bus
isn't going to work for those of us who either can't walk the two blocks
to the hotel, or who usually have so much luggage that getting on to a
bus (without major assistance) is not a viable option, or ... You get
the picture.
What's the distance from the airport to the hotel? How much does cab
fare run? Are there limo or van services available? (I'm not asking
for the AG to subsidize or arrange anything, just for info.)
I'm assuming that your local airport has a website--maybe not a good
assumption, but if they do, perhaps you could put a link to that on the
transportation page.

Also--and this is just for your info (I know that you can't do anything
about it)--the Radisson Riverfront webpage seems to have a bit of a
problem: none of the links to things like reservations, map of the
hotel, etc., seem to be working properly. I may just have hit it on a
bad night.

It looks like it is going to be a great AG. You are certainly more
organized than most committees have been by this time and I know that it
represents a lot of hard work on the part of many people. Thank you for
volunteering to put on a very BIG party! Take care and good luck. See
you in St. Paul.

Jeannette Blumenthal
