Hi, Jim.

I just got an e-mail back from Paul Jensen, the Acting Local Secretary,
confirming the Board's decision to move the domain to a new hosting
provider.

Quoting from his message, "This action is in the financial best
interests of our group ..." so I assume somebody's found a "free" host,
although Paul assures me that it "will not reduce our level of service."

I guess I can understand that decision, as Minnesota Mensa gets most of
its funding as an allocation from National Mensa dues (Mensa members do
not pay local dues), and raises very little money on its own.

Paul also wrote that we want the domain transfer "to be implemented
expeditiously" so I've got to echo that, as well.

I note that between us, Olson Law Firm is still on your server. I hope
to get more Twin Cities clients in the future, and I plan to continue
recommending OutTech for hosting, as I've always been very happy with
the service you provide.

One more thing -- the MN Mensa board isn't terribly Internet-savvy --
could you please send me the name/URL of where they want the domain name
moved to? I need to start checking them out and introducing myself.

Thanks very much, and I look forward to bringing you more business in
the future.

Regards,

Al
