Hello, Paul --

This morning, at the Northfield post office, I received a forwarded
letter from DeDe -- dated 8/22/02, postmarked 8/26/02, and addressed to
a street address that I *never* give out to people.

This letter purports to describe a "special board meeting Monday night"
(presumably 8/19/02) that, among other things, again removed me as MN
Mensa Webmaster and again appointed the incompetent Jason.

In view of your 8/10/02 written document signed by both of us, as well
as your e-mail of 8/13/02 saying "... until you are reinstated" and "Al,
a voting majority is in agreement with our agreement.", I think I'm
entitled to a fast and full up-to-date explanation of just what the
devil is going on here.

Obviously, what DeDe described in her letter is unacceptable, and, if
not corrected, would have severe, wide-ranging, and very public
repercussions. (I note that there is a scheduled Board Meeting this
coming Tuesday, which would be an excellent opportunity to definitively
put things back right, and as we mutually agreed in the paper you and I
signed.)


Please get back to me at your very earliest convenience. The promptness
and content of your response will be a large factor in how I proceed
from here.
