Possibly, possibly not -- I'll have to research what Minnesota law says
about written and signed agreements. In any event, a judge may well
rule that it is binding, at least until the next election.

It is not "my" case -- it is the case of whether the Board wants its
Internet presence to be a good one or a laughably crappy one. So far,
as reported to me, a majority of the Board has consistently acted
contrary to the best interests of its constituency, which has
interesting implications for the future Board status of its current
members.

Jason cannot correct innate dimbulbness, inexperience, and
incompetence. He cannot even restore the search engine links. The
quicker he resigns or is laughed away, the better.

As far as I have been able to ascertain, "We" does not comprise anyone
who has the slightest competence to draw up a "Webmaster job
description." I have been outlining a proper one (low priority at
first, but it will ramp up), which will go through National, who will
then deliver it to the local groups, as it should be.

----------------------------

This whole situation has dragged on far too long, and is all tragically
unfortunate and utterly unacceptable.

The people who have reviewed the situation, and the arrangements I have
been making for correcting it, are completely in agreement -- that I
have been extraordinarily generous in giving the Board chance after
chance after chance to correct its initial and continuing errors in
judgment.

(They also cannot understand how a majority of a small collection of
Mensans -- of all people -- can consistently fail to act both
intelligently and ethically, but that will all come out in the wash
eventually.)

Things *will* get back to normal. *I* have set the timetable for
restoring our authentic and competent website, namely starting about 45
seconds after reading your e-mail tonight. It is completing uploading
to the Internet as I type this.

I will be checking the links, and then starting to send out URL
notifications, as soon as I get a little more time.
