Theft of Intellectual Property: Karen
Cyson noted that this is a recurring problem and asked what has been
done about it. Paul Jensen said that he will contact the national
office. |

I happened to have a copy of Minnesota Mensa's newsletter - Mensagenda on my
desk.
Here is another item from his website, dated July 31, 2006.
He himself put this up on his own website.
But he claims he knew nothing about any Hearings actions against himself.

Old Business:
Al Heigl Status: Jane Gmur presented an update. Letters have been
sent by the national office to Mr. Heigl via regular and certified
mail, informing him of the charges and requesting that he reply by
August 1 as to whether he wishes to contest the charges. If a reply
is not received by August 1, it will be assumed that he does not
contest the charges and/or has no defense against them. A hearing
will then be held by electronic means on September 16 to determine
what sanctions should be levied. |

Pam,
Unfortunately, I need a little quick action from your
staff on this. I need the following phone numbers for a Saturday contact:
Cliff
The woman who complained Al used her copyright
material without permission (was that Karen Cyson or something similar?)
A witness who can testify to how much the WIPO action
cost AML.
Please let me know what I can do to help!
Thanks! Guy
