Dear Ms. Wainwright,

Jason Schmitz and I are members of Minnesota Mensa.

Based on the poor quality of pages he published to the Internet on
behalf of our organization, he and I are having a personal dispute over
what I perceive as his demonstrated lack of qualifications to be a
small-group webmaster, and he objects to my stating my opinions of him
on one of my websites.

Since *he* raised the topic of his employment at the Star Tribune in a
recent e-mail, I felt that HR should at least be aware of this, so I
want to send a CC of my reply e-mail to HR.

Unfortunately, yours is the only HR e-mail address at the Star Tribune
that I have been able to find.

The e-mail is entitled "Re: Former Mensa website(s) -- just plain
ineptly done ..." and I am not implying that anything regarding our
personal dispute should have any bearing whatsoever on his employment at
the Star Tribune.  For all I know, he does an excellent job for your
company; I would prefer that that is the case.

Therefore, please feel free to forward the CC you will receive to anyone
you wish that you feel is appropriate to read it, or simply delete it as
utterly irrelevant.

Thank you, and I apologize for taking up your time with such an "off
topic" matter. It's purely a personal matter, but I'm rather irate
about it.

Sincerely,

Al Heigl
