Nominations for Overall Presentation, Member Recruitment, and Best
Website (Large) have the wrong person listed as webmaster. It's also
possible that you have the wrong URL as well.

Pursuant to a signed written agreement dated 8/10/02 and posted at
http://www.millcityrecords.com/mndensa/agreement.htm, Jason Schmitz was
relegated to our small AG 2003 site and the original webmaster of the
chapter's site was reinstated.

The problems within MN Mensa that necessitated the agreement (some of
which are still not fully and satisfactorily resolved) resulted from
Schmitz's unsatisfactory "work" on ag2003.com (!) which he has
apparently abandoned, and on our original mnmensa.org, where one of his
first acts after getting access to the site was to obliterate every
single page built up over more than half a decade, and he couldn't put
them back properly.

Accordingly, mnmensa.org has become sort of a rogue site, and the actual
legacy website was moved to its originally preferred domain name
minnesotamensa.org.

For an easy and simple example of why it would be a major embarrassment
for the current mnmensa.org to even be nominated, just go to a
nonexistent page (such as http://www.mnmensa.org/inept.html) and look at
the very top of the links column on the left. Then look at the nearest
calendar, if you need to.

So, please, the Minnesota Mensa website is at
http://www.minnesotamensa.org/, and the webmaster is Alan Heigl. (Some
visitors may recognize it right away, as it has been nominated in the
past.)

It would be best if this correction could be promulgated from the top
down, and essentially to those who would vote. Otherwise, if I have to
do notifications, I'm likely to use far too wide a brush, including the
media, to ensure that the appropriate people have a chance to realize
the error.

Thank you.

Al Heigl
