Background:
The Community Activities Program (CAP) is a project of American Mensa which awards local groups for activities that promote Mensa locally. In 2004, Paul wrote a long submission regarding Minnesota Mensa's support of the fledgling Nova Academy charter school. Minnesota Mensa won a CAP award for this project.
The submittal is too long to include here (27 pages). But we've included links to Nova Academy's own web site, as well as one covering Nova Academy as one of many charter schools. Check them out, and you'll see that Minnesota Mensa is never mentioned. This shows the true level of importance of MN Mensa's support and involvement- and indicates that the CAP submittal signifcantly overstated it.
