Paul will be on the Board of Minnesota Mensa for some time, unless he voluntarily resigns. None of us expect him to do this. So the only solution is to elect board members that will bring independant voices and opinions to the board.
Only two offices positions have two candidates- LocSec and Treasurer. It is essential that Paul and his hand-picked candidate for Treasurer not be elected to those positions! We urge you to vote for Jane Gmur for LocSec, and Celia Andersen for Treasurer. Both are highly qualified and have served Minnesota Mensa in many capacities in the past. You may also, if you choose, write in a member's name for the positions of First Vice Secretary, Second Vice Secretary, and Recording Secretary. This will only be effective if a single member receives enough write-in votes to win the election, but a write-in vote will at least send the message that you do not support the candidate(s) chosen by the Nominating Committee.
